Hello everyone, hope you've all been well since we bothered you last :) Let's start with pics from Damian's birthday, they are in reverse order.. so this was the morning after the party.

M&Ms that his sister had printed and sent from the U.S.A. The picture is of him and Kylin.

Herbert and Chris arrived early afternoon and being organised, we were able to chill with them for a few hours before everyone arrived. Chris strummed a few tunes, 'twas good to see the three of them together again.

We got a new Zoku ice pop maker, it freezes them in around 10 mins. These are frozen strawberry milshakes with ice magic and sprinkles. We love it!

We spent a great day with Andrea and Keelan scouring the op shops and finding all sorts of bargains, ending with sausage rolls in the park. :)

Last Saturday and Sunday night Rhys had sleepovers. We took them both to see Mr Popper's penguins then out to lunch at La Porchettas. They both behaved beautifully all weekend. xo

Last swim of the term and Kylin earned his level 7 swim certificate, he was absolutely stoked.

His friend Keelan has a new puppy called Max. Andrea let Kylin carry Max all the way back to the carpark after school. Kylin just adores him.

In other news, my stepdad Ernie passed away on the 17th Sept. After an unsuccessful battle with cancer. His funeral was last Friday.

Our September birthday babies are:

new belts and show bags

Hello everyone, lots to show you again, here we go.

Kylin and Jazzmin both did their Ninjutsu grading last Friday and moved up to their new belts.

Cairns show time, 5 hours during the day and back at night for another couple of hours.

Kylin loved this trampoline harness and jumped SO high.

Out the front of the Civic Centre before we all went in to see Circus Quirkus. Amazing acrobats jugglers and clowns, the kids had a ball.

School sports day. A few meltdowns but it finished well with the discovery that he was fantastic at the shotput and hoiked it much further than his whole class did.

Birthdays, visitors and wobbers.

Hello everyone! It's been a couple of months since we posted but for good reason. We got broken into the week before Easter and they took loads of stuff including our cameras. Anyone who's had this happen will know what a terrible feeling this is, I'm just gratefull they came when we weren't home so none of us got hurt. Our cat was very freaked out for a while though. Anyway...on a brighter note, here's a little of what we've been up to since then. We celebrated Shanes birthday at their place with a gathering of lovely people and gorgeous food.We had a visit from Dad, it was so nice to see him and Kylin loved having his grandpa here to hang out with.

Damian's friends from Townsville rode up for a sleepover. Kylin loved them and their bikes.

He got a despicable me Wii game from Pete n Deb and we gave him a buzz lightyear.

Big thanks to Pete n Deb who organised some lovely surprises during our dinner at Hogs Breath. The staff were all wonderfull, they sang to Kylin, gave the boys goody bags and Pete n Deb paid for all our dinners. MWA You guys rock!! xoxo

Rhys had a sleepover and the boys helped me make honey joys for Kylins party the next morning.

We had his party in the park with 20+ kids, everyone had a brilliant time.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Kylin's birthday special, for his gifts and your messages - he had a fantastic birthday!

In other news, I have re-gained almost full use of my right hand and arm again thanks to a brilliant hand therapist I've been seeing, and Kylin's O.T.

As part of my therapy, I'm teaching myself how to play the guitar which is very challenging, but fun :)

I also have had my license changed to a conditional one, having learnt that I had to report my medical condition to QLD transport. This solved a dilemma that I had been wrestling with for months, so now I get a review and a new medical cert. which I carry with me that clears me as fit to drive.
