Hi everyone, we've had a busy month again so I've only put in brief descriptions.Sweet little angel all crashed out. x

We had an amazing few days with our gorgeous friends, the following few photos were picked from about 300 :)

In other news, we have finally got Kylin's paediatrition to confirm that he has Aspergers. I have known this for years, but having someone actually put it on paper means we can get him the support he needs at school which is fantastic.

Damian is enjoying his new job in Townsville and has moved into share accommodation already. Today he will complete his induction and next week he will start on a roster. He'll be home this weekend until Tuesday.

Good morning everyone, thought I'd give you something to focus on as you wake up to a brand new year.

Kylin's first tooth fell out on the 23rd, so he got the tooth fairy one night and santa the next. Far too exciting!

Wayne joined us for a gorgeous lunch with nibbles, prawns and a vietnamese coleslaw salad, followed by a passionfruit, white chocolate ganache jelly cake - it looked like a train smash - tasted awesome!

Boxing day morning - Wayne and Kylin crashed out after breakfast - not a very lively bunch! :)

We let Kylin stay up as late as he wanted to. He had nibbles by candlelight, a swim in the dark, sparklers, poppers and was crashed out by 9pm.

We hope you all got through last night ok. The madness is over now for another year. :)

We now only have 10 more sleeps until our home is filled with the energy of our beautiful friends, for a week that will fly by, but I can't wait for. We have a countdown on our fridge and smiles that keep spilling out. :)

In other news - Congratulations to Mark and Col on recently becoming grandparents. xx

Since the last post.....

we had a visit from a snakewent to the school disco (Jazzmin, Kylin & Kris)

Played backyard fishermen in Al's tinny

caught a humongous bug

cuddled a python

had our preps break up party

did our school concert

Too much fun

Hello everyone, we hope you've had a great few weeks. It seems we haven't stopped, there's always lots to be done and people to catch up with.

Dermott (aka Grunk) was in Cairns for a few days last week. Kylin made him lots of yummy food from his new kitchen. It was so nice to see him and spend time with him again.

We also got to catch up with the lovely Linc. He made time for us during his visit recently. We had dinner with him at Mondo's, where Kylin made a great impression and we had a fab time (but it went too quick). Awesome to see him again. Kylin's new kitchen. He whips us up breakfast most days and copies what I'm doing, he's too cute. There were chickens in his eggs!

Kylin's very first time on a bus. I went and helped out at the preps swimming lessons. The kids were soooo excited it was great fun.

Brodie and Kylin got to swim and play with the drain ?!?!?!? Heaps of cuddles and giggles.

Rhys during the cola experiment. We put a packet of mentos into a cola bottle and watched it explode.

Rhys dressed as a transformer, Kylin as an old lady. Kylin chased him around the house whacking him with his hand bag, yelling "take that" Hahahahaha.

Halloween, Damian had a party to go to, so Kylin and I stayed at the Colonial club while he was gone. Kylin turned every light on and off a million times, was in and out of the cupboard, had about 5 baths, played with the telly, had the whole fridge full of snacks, jumped on the beds and had a wonderful time.

In the playground at the resort, he woo hooed and yelled higher higher, Daddy did a fab job making him fly.

Finally, about 8.30 he crashed.

We have been busy collecting stuff for our garage sale and have heaps of boxes full already.

This week Wayne is arriving back in Cairns and will be staying with us for a while until he gets settled. It's going to be great having him here again, we've missed him. :)

It's only 52 more sleeps till christmas so we are starting to get all excited about that already. We have another batch of wine on the go and our herbs and veggies are doing very well now with the rain. All is well here and we hope it's the same in your world too.
