13 more sleeps!!

Hello lovely blog readers. Let's find out what we've been up to lately. We brought wiggles tickets off someone who was desperate to sell them. 10 rows from the front on the middle aisle. Kylin got to Hi 5 Sam and got an "Ahoy there" as he spun around and bumped into captain feathersword. His smile was priceless.
We went to the special kids xmas party that's put on by the variety club and golden casket. This is Kylin on stage busting a move. He won a prize for his dancing.
Kylin and Rhys at the xmas party with their faces painted.
Kylin performed beautifully in his drama club play. They all received an academy award and a certificate afterwards.
Damian and I heading off to the Navy ball. Filiz and I paired up again for a fun packed evening, and lots of silly photos.
Kylin was Joseph in the school play and was brilliant. He told me it was an aboriginal play.....I think he meant nativity.
Kylin competed in the Ninjutsu games. He did really well even though he was really tired. He became the major cheerleader for his team. His team, the snakes, won the day overall.
Damians' new toy. It's a remote controlled shark. It's called an Air Swimmer. You can see them in action on you tube. It is enormous.
Kylin and Jazzmin using the new craft table.
We had Andy, Wayne, Mick, Dave, his daughter Jayne and her friend over for a nibbly dinner recently. We had loads of food and a great night.
Kylin met up with Santa, who told me he thought he was just delightful.
Dear little Ryan turned 2. On Kylins' request, we made him a sardine ice cream cake for his birthday.
Kylins' obstacle course effort at the ninja games. He has a yellow bandana on and starts from the right side of the orange wall.

Happy Birthday to our December babies:
Vanessa, Jay, Danny, Mandy, Peter, River, Ryan, Trixie, Dermott, Nic, Brodie, Richard, Pat, Campa, Andrew, Renae, Isabelle and Grant.
Loads of you this month!
Hope you all have a magic day and a beautiful year ahead.

Take care of yourselves. Hope you are all organised and not stressing too much about xmas, the shopping centres are mad already.
Love and hugs until next time. Kaz. xoxo

Where did October go?

Hello everyone, not too much to report this time around. Just thought we'd pop by and say Hi anyway. :) Damian got up in the roof to investigate a leak and Kylin tried to be helpful with his little torch so daddy could see, he made sure he wore his breathing mask.
We went to birdworld in Kuranda last weekend, it was great and we all hand fed lots of beautiful birds. Kylin just adored it.

This little guy was his favourite and stayed on his hands for ages.
This one liked Damian and stayed on him all the way around the park.
Damian discovered this in the roof while searching for the leak, we don't know if the owner is still up there or not.
We got given tickets to see a magic show that had some very luscious assistants, Kylin fell in love with this girl and she was really sweet to him. He got all their autographs and was amazed at all the magic tricks.
We met the lovely Filiz and Oliver at Yorkies for lunch recently. Kylins' band was there and very happy to see him. He played his little drum this time. He's too big now to fit under Jocks arm like he used to. :)
Puddle jumping during our first lot of rain for the season. Too much fun.
Kylin has started at drama club once a week and is absolutely loving it. He gets to be a king in a play in a couple of weeks so he's busy rehearsing his lines.
If this works ok, it's Kylin standing on the coffee table, watching his shadow on the curtains, whilst belting out New York New York. :)

Happy birthday to our October babies:
Deb, Bella, April, Lee, Mat, Damian, Flipper, Rosie, John, Peter and Oliver.
Hope your special day was all you hoped for.

Happy birthday to our November babies:
Nicholas, Ben, Caroline, Filiz, Jess, Riley and Lis.
Best wishes for a wonderful birthday.

Hope you are all happy and well and gearing up for the silly season. In the near future we have the school fete, the play, last day of school, the wiggles, various kids xmas parties and that's all before December! Sheesh!

Take care and we'll be back in your inbox soon. xoxo

When you die.

All sorts of goings on

Hello everyone, hope you've all been well since we bothered you last :) Let's start with pics from Damian's birthday, they are in reverse order.. so this was the morning after the party.
M&Ms that his sister had printed and sent from the U.S.A. The picture is of him and Kylin.

Herbert and Chris arrived early afternoon and being organised, we were able to chill with them for a few hours before everyone arrived. Chris strummed a few tunes, 'twas good to see the three of them together again.
We got a new Zoku ice pop maker, it freezes them in around 10 mins. These are frozen strawberry milshakes with ice magic and sprinkles. We love it!
We spent a great day with Andrea and Keelan scouring the op shops and finding all sorts of bargains, ending with sausage rolls in the park. :)
Last Saturday and Sunday night Rhys had sleepovers. We took them both to see Mr Popper's penguins then out to lunch at La Porchettas. They both behaved beautifully all weekend. xo
Kylin, Rhys and Jazzmin having a bbq picnic on Rhy's new driveway. Tina and Al's new home is just gorgeous. The bbq was for Damian's birthday as they were away the weekend of his party.
Madi cuddles.
Kylin n Rhys being silly in the car. :)
Kylin n Rhys again after playing badminton out the front.
Last swim of the term and Kylin earned his level 7 swim certificate, he was absolutely stoked.
His friend Keelan has a new puppy called Max. Andrea let Kylin carry Max all the way back to the carpark after school. Kylin just adores him.
Feeding the horses on the way into school.
Ryan cuddles.
In other news, my stepdad Ernie passed away on the 17th Sept. After an unsuccessful battle with cancer. His funeral was last Friday.

Our September birthday babies are:

Dan, Damian, Kiah, Micheal, Wayne, Denis, Dianne, Tookta, Greg, Baylie, Al, Nic, Tony & Amanda.

We hope you had, or will have, a wonderful day. xo

That's it for us this month, hope all your world is well. We'll be back in a month or so. Love n hugs from us. xoxo

new belts and show bags

Hello everyone, lots to show you again, here we go.
Kylin and Jazzmin both did their Ninjutsu grading last Friday and moved up to their new belts.
Cairns show time, 5 hours during the day and back at night for another couple of hours.
Kylin loved this trampoline harness and jumped SO high.
On the little rollercoaster.
Being like Uncle Peter on the ATV bike. Thankfully he didn't try to stand up on it. :)
That smile was there all day.
Kylin and I made stage curtains. The kids now have a proper "dressing" area and can put on shows.
Cowbee.
We had a fire in the webber one night, toasted marshmallows and stargazed.
It's DJ drummer boy
Pussy waiting for the next act.
Master bowling chef.
Out the front of the Civic Centre before we all went in to see Circus Quirkus. Amazing acrobats jugglers and clowns, the kids had a ball.
School sports day. A few meltdowns but it finished well with the discovery that he was fantastic at the shotput and hoiked it much further than his whole class did.
Bendy high jump :)
Practicing their eistedfod song at assembly. Kylin's on the end of the second row.
Our mad cat who loves water, we throw little rubber balls in a bucket and he'll get in to fish them out.
A quick video of one of the kicks Kylin had to do for his grading.
