Big few weeks

Hi everyone, Well here they are! All grown up and off to school. The day was a complete success, all the preperation and planning we did, really really paid off. The plan was for Kylin to only stay a few hours on his first day - he stayed ALL day and had a wonderful time. I was so proud of him he was really upset but darling Jazzmin looked after him and after the initial seperation, he joined in and settled in wonderfully. (insert sounds of mummy slumped in the corner heaving huge sighs of relief) He can't wait to go back tomorrow. All geared up and excited.

On Kylin's last day of pre-school we had a little family party to celebrate another milestone, and picked him up in a taxi as a special surprise. I thought he was going to have a chicken when I told him we were going home in one.

A couple of photos when Kylin and I went exploring the creek out the back.

Just a cheeky photo, when we come home the back way, we pull over and let him sit in the front for the last few blocks home, he loves it.

Me n Boo xx

and again :)

He doesn't really care about the chips, it's being in red roosters "house" he loves.

A special adventure with Daddy on the Kuranda train. I drove the car up to meet them. We had a little walk around before boo got all fatigued and funny and I drove them home.

We went to Bindi n Dan's for Australia day and as usual had a blast. Loadsa food, and great company. We stayed the night and caused havoc with their routine - it was ace. Dan even cooked us an awesome breakkie the next morning! All too good.

STICKERS!

He'd been in the pool and his zinc ran - yeah right!

Love you wenchie xx

lets all be like Sam!

Happy new year everyone!

Hello lovely people, we hope you had a wonderful christmas and hope 2009 is a fantastic one for you all. As usual we have loads of photos for you. Damian and I have brought each other a new video cam for xmas so we'll be able to post videos here too in future. This is Kylin on xmas eve sleeping in his santa sack.
Pete n Deb sent us "sheep products" to add to the "reindeers have been here" illusion. On xmas morning there was reindeer fluff snagged in trees and all over the lawn, and a reindeer poo in mummys shoe, Kylin loved this but was a bit miffed that they had made so much mess.
Present time, he loved everything, and kept saying oooohhh it's beautiful thank you santa.
one of santa's presents was a kids shaving kit, so it was off to the bathroom to shave with daddy and be all smooth.
Kylin at his preschool xmas party
We had a lovely stress free xmas just the three of us, we did lots of crafty stuff in the days leading up so we had lots of little things we'd made amongst our brought decorations which was nice. Boxing day we had Marisol, Shane, Dan, Bindi and the kids over for a leftovers day.
more dress ups - too cute
Jazz, Jaelyn and Kylin swapping presents
Christmas wench n Baylie
Damian went back on the 31st, Kylin and I went to "visit" Bindi n Dan and ended up staying the night. We had a fab time, and the kids played beautifully.
On the 2nd, Rachael flew up with her boyfriend Ben to stay with us for almost a week. We went to Palm Cove, Ellis beach and Yorkies for lunch on one of the days, and lunch and the lagoon on another day. For the rest of the time we just hung around home and veged.
It was so fab to spend time with them, I hope when Kylin is 18 he is as sweet and thoughtfull as Ben is. They were both so great with Kylin, he was very sad to see them go.
Rachael being gorgeous without trying :) We stopped lots so she could gather frangipannis. Wherever she went, she left a trail of dying flowers
Booey all crashed out
One last play before we took them to the airport. We miss you, we love you, please come back.......

I found this gorgeous teddy bear sleeping bag in the op shop yesterday. $15.00 and I don't think it's ever been used. He loves it.
